Join us Saturday April 25th for another great training seminar on Blade work. We look forward to welcoming guest instructor Chris Mandigma from Tirsia Tactical for a 6.5 hour seminar on Knife defense and knife tactics.

Chris Mandigma is the Director of training for Tirsia Tactical

Chris Mandigma is an internationally-recognized authority and law enforcement trainer specializing in defensive tactics and firearms integration.
Chris builds doctrine around pressure-tested control tactics, force, and decision sequencing under operational pressure.
His technical base draws from Muay Thai striking mechanics, Jiu-jitsu positional control, and Pekiti Tirsia Kali blade and impact-weapon methodology. He translates these systems into law-enforcement-specific training that prioritizes situational dominance, weapon retention, rapid threat assessment, and repeatable motor patterns suited for duty environments.

Event Description

Build real-world self-defense skills with hands-on training against gun, knife, and improvised-weapon threats, plus 3rd-party interventions and scenario-based drills. This monthly Hard Skills workshop from Full Spectrum Defense focuses on practical mechanics, safe pressure, and step-by-step progressions so adults of all levels can train effectively.

Who It’s For

Adults (men & women). No experience required. Beginners get fundamentals; experienced students get advanced options and safe testing.

Schedule & Format

  • When: Monthly, 2 hours (see upcoming dates below)

  • Topics: Each month will train a different set of skills
  • Format: Skill blocks → guided reps → controlled scenario labs → debrief

  • Capacity: Limited to ensure coaching quality and safety (10)

Join us for the return of Warrior Weekend. This years event will have 6 hours of martial arts training seminars with guest instructors from across Ontario. We cannot wait to see everyone back again this year for the event.

During the event there will be bake sale, dunk tank and silent auction. Proceeds from this event go the Cystic Fibrosis research. Event location: Driftwood Martial Arts

All tickets include: Seminars, Event entry, Lunch and t-shirt. Tickets for this event are $99 + hst.
