Kid Fit Cardio
Heritage Martial Arts has designed the exclusive Kid Fit Cardio™ program to promote a healthy lifestyle for children by improving their fitness levels and encouraging them to choose healthy foods.
All of the Kid Fit Cardio™ programs provide students with student manual, t-shirts and certificates. The Kid Fit Cardio™ programs combine the intensity of high-energy music with a unique blend of exercises to achieve a proper heart rate and improve cardio fitness. Each class encourages the children to set goals and work to achieve personal bests.
Mighty Mites: (ages 4-6)
Designed to offer young children an introduction to fitness in a fun environment! Children learn basic movements and improve balance, coordination and basic motor function. Fitness games are combined with individual, group and partner work to ensure the children are constantly moving, learning and having fun getting active!
Kid Fit Cardio™ (ages 7-14)
A program designed to teach children that fitness is Fun through exercises such as running, jumping, skipping, punching, kicking and many more! Exercises are taught to high energy music in a fun, non-competitive environment. Children improve self-confidence and self-esteem while learning that staying active can be Fun!
Boot Camp (ages 7-14)
The second level of our standard Kid Fit Cardio™ program encourages those children that have completed Kid Fit Cardio™ to work harder, sweat more and have a lot of fun in this Boot-Camp type environment. Children look to improve speed, balance, coordination, strength, agility and flexibility.
Elite Boot Camp (ages 7-14)
Our most advanced level of Kid Fit Cardio™ sees children that have progressed through Kid Fit Cardio™ and Boot Camp take on a bigger challenge. Children push themselves to achieve personal goals. Exercises become more advanced with children learning punching and kicking combinations, footwork drills, along with a series of complex exercises with a variety of fitness equipment.
Athletics (ages 7+ – athletes)
Designed to meet the needs of young athletes looking to improve their game outside of sport-specific practices. Through a series of carefully designed circuits and exercises, young athletes improve overall conditioning and enhance their game-ready skills.
